As part of my preparation on the Web Services exam I have started reading the J2EE Web Services By Richard Monson-Haefel (RMH) and I am targetting the 1.5 exam.
However, the book I am reading from was published in October 20, 2003 (Looks like it based on the J2EE 1.4 platform)

Guys, please suggest if this is the right book to read for the 1.5 exam ? If no, then please also tell me the latest version of the book ?
If you have any other book to suggest you can tell me that as well.

There is no newer edition of the book, and most likely there will never be one - RMH has given up on SOAP web services using Java (and possibly in all languages). I'm sure you can find his article to that effect if you search around.

Thanks Ulf.
I have started reading the RMH book so that I get the basic knowledge first.

Hi;
I am also preparing for the SCDJWS, can you tell me if it is possible to find a free soft copy of Richard Monson-Haefel (RMH) book, and if yes then where?
Thanks in advance and regards

Despite being outdated, the book is not free; you'll have to buy it.

Nisreen,
The other option is to buy a Safari books license. The book is available there.
Thanks.
