Pardon me while I make up some terms to describe what I'm seeing.

There is a page with list of forums (fora?) on it. There are two forums I mostly follow, so I page down to them, and one of them shows that the last post was X by Y.

I click on the forum link and go to that forum's page, and the X is nowhere to be found. The most recent posting according to the dates on that list preceded the one on the forums page.

I close out of all forum windows, in fact close all browser windows, wait 15 minutes, go back to the forum page. Same thing.

Anyone know how I can see the most recent posts, i.e., why aren't they showing up on the forum page?

This is a known bug that has been reported a number times.

You are not missing anything... It is the listing that is wrong, not the posts.
