hello any body can help me

i have one jsp file iam using this file for search criteria in this
page i have 3 fields id,name,status if user enters any one field
it should not ask for enter the data .if he should not enter the
data in any one field it should ask for entering the data.
iam using struts frame work,
my formbean extends ValidatorActionForm and i want to check this using
validator.xml file only how can it possible i tried using some built validation but iam not getting the result any body can give me sample validation example
