Hi there.

I have a java application that is running without a container (Jboss/tomcat).
I'm using JPA (hibernate) to map the db (SQL server).

I'm pretty new at this but I read that it's wise to use c3p0 for connection pooling.
The c3p0's project sites seems broken and I can't find the documentation.

My question is, is it ok to use c3p0 with a standalone java app?
And would it be enough to just add these lines to the "persistence.xml"?
