== and != for Wrapper Objects

What and how is this happening?

Integer i1=1000;
Integer i2=1000;
if(i1!=i2)
{
    System.out.println("i1!=i2");
}
Integer i3=10;
Integer i4=10;
if(i3==i4)
{
    System.out.println("i3==i4");
}

Output :
i1!=i2
i3==i4

Autoboxing uses a cache of values between -128 and 127. If you SearchFirst you will find many threads about the same question.
