hello everyone.. i'm just wonderin if it is possible to test the value of a collection without using scriptlets? For example I have this collection item:



I wanted to display it as a link if its value is "Incomplete" and just display the value as a normal test if it is "Complete"

any advice?

Hi Mona, you need to use id attribute in <layout:collection> tag in order to expose each item of your collection and then attempt to retrieve the property. Use JSTL to enforce condtions. The following code snippet would help you:
