New voucher from Oracle

Hi,

I had sent mail to exchange my prometric voucher for part 2 two days ago.Still i have no received any reply from them.If anyone has received the new voucher ,how long does it usually take?

I have received mine today. Yesterday I have sent them letter with screenshot of bank transaction proving purchase of exam at Prometric. It took only 1 day for me. Try to resend your message.

What if you purchased the assignment as a private buyer through Prometric (not through company - so no voucher)? Do we still need to send something to Oracle for a transfer?

i am in the same situation. i sent mail to oracle to give me exchange voucher to use at Pearson (i bought voucher at prometric), but still didn't get it.

Anybody got the exchange voucher?
How long it takes for oracle to reply us?

i've sent four emails.
For each of these i've received (after two/three works day) a reply from oracle that suggested me to forward:
1) first time: the assignment purchase confirmation details, and i've sent a copy-and-paste of the purchase email from oracle university
2) second time: email which i received from Oracle University, then i've sent a forward of the original purchase email from oracle university
3) third time: no response, and i've sent another email like the previous
4) fourth time: finally the voucher to upload

from the first until today (today i've recevied the voucher from [e-mail]) it passed 10 days!

Folks,
I too mailed Oracle and got reply in 3-4 Business days.
Here are the steps
Please send all the details related to your voucher including purchase date. Then they will mail you the voucher.

1. Contact us with the assignment purchase confirmation details (at [e-mail]) to request a voucher that will allow you to submit the assignment. - Please confirm us the exact date of assignment purchase, so that we can issue the voucher at the earliest.
2. Go to www.pearsonvue.com/oracle.
3. Click on Schedule A Test
4. Select "Master Assignments" under "What type of exam are you planning to take?" section Make sure you pick this.
5. Login with your Pearson Vue user name and Password (Create a Pearson VUE web account at pearsonvue.com/oracle if you do not already have one.)
6. Access the assignment online at pearsonvue.com/oracle, using test number 1Z0-848 for the Architect assignment and 1Z0-844 for the Developer assignment.
7. Using your voucher code to access one of these tests will place you into a special form of the assignment where you can upload your completed work.

So bottom line if you get exchange voucher you need to select

So I was able to upload my assignment and then i booked for
ESSAY: 1Z0-866 Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master Essay Exam (Step 3 of 3)

To book essay logout and during login select click on Proctored Exams.

Good luck. I am waiting for my results. Its really sad that Oracle is forcing people after August 31st to under go mandatory training in part-4. Frankly i cant afford those expensive trainings. Hope I will pass.

I just followed the steps in this thread, and I was able to schedule a new test with the voucher I got. BUT, I (accidently) pressed "Start the test"...which I probably shouldn't have done! It says I can't stop the test, and I have to complete it within 48 hours!! WTF? Is this a joke? I'm really not ready for uploading my assignment yet..

I would recommend getting in touch with Pearson VUE and explain the situation to them.

You should have registered once you have the assignment ready. But its wierd you dont have a option to cancel it. But in either case call Pearson. There support team is pretty good.

Also i noticed one more bug in Pearson VUE. Though I completed my Part- 3 when i login in to pearson website the status is displayed as "error". Howevere two of my friends who also took exam 2 days later can see the status of the test as "Taken" for Part-3
So finally i called pearson support and they have promised me to fix the issue. So 3 days from now i should be able to see correct status and probably in 4-6 weeks I will get the result.

This whole switching of Oracle from promteric to Pearson as been rough for ppl like us. I wish oracle should have done a better job on this issue.(May be some site where we could get th exchange voucher on our own instead of mailing and waiting with out knowing how long)

I've contacted Pearsonvue today, and they're not able to cancel/reschedule my exam! Now I've got less than 24 hours to complete my assignment...hopefully Oracle can help me, either by contacting Pearsonvue or making a new voucher for me!

If anyone has downloaded assignment from Prometric using voucher/credit card ....then to upload assignment we need a transition voucher from Oracle, as things are getting delayed due to volume and Pearson transition....it would be better to start contacting Oracle early to get voucher as soon as possible regardless if you are planning to give exam in couple of weeks or 1-2 months.....mine took totally 4 business days to get voucher....I had send Bank transaction details with date and Prometric confirmation screen print ..

I purchase from the third party and so i did not got the voucher from prometric but i got confirmation email regarding activation and also got my assignment through email account i forwarded that to them with the purchasing date and within two days they send me the voucher.

Oracle has already shifted its OCP oracle exam and all other from prometric to pearson i am OCP and had cleard part of it after they shifted to pearson and did not find any tourble even my SJCP 5.0 and SJCP 6.0 certification are updated in certview site of oracle from certmanager site of sun..... so dont worry they have experience of doing this and all the problem are been solved in days.... and oracle is great in replying and solving the problem they are very cooperative they have re delivered me once OCP certificate which i got shocked in rain water during rainy season......
