I am refreshing a Div with remoteFunction like this

The previous content goes away and refreshes quickly .
can i Effect.Fade the previous div content and Effect.Appear the next content of Div with remoteFunction?

You might want to mention in your thread title that this is a Grails question.

<g:remoteFunction /> has both a before and an after attribute in which you can add your desired effects.

I tried this and the fading and appear not working well together. fading occurs after Appear and the content is blank
