Basic Java Question related to console

HI All,

I am creating a tic-tac-toe program, which is console based so when user enter 1,1,X it will put symbol 'X" in place (1,1).
and with that i also want to display whole tic-tac-toe on console.

i dont know how to draw tic-tac-toe on console.

basic question is how to draw line , square , circle [basic component] on console screen.
