Hi,I am new to spring framework,I have been developing a small application using SimpleFormController,but getting the subject line exception,I am trying this from 3-4 days but not get any idea,Please Help me.
Here is my controller class

See here I think you'll seed to set the commandName to be the same as the command name that you have set in the Spring form in your jsp...

I had set the commandName as vids2m1 in spring form in my jsp and in my dispatcher-servlet also.

Is this happening before you submit or after you submit?
Make the success page for the VIDS2M1Controller to be something else and not the same page...

After couple minutes of review your codes I see the problems here, see below for
more info...hope it help.

It won't be a quick fix, you need a lot of work here in order to make it works.

Something like this I'd charge for a service....j/k.

1. This method loaded first when the controller class run.

        return vids2m1;  //This return an instance name "vids2m1" doesn't have to match the command name
        		//in JSP page. The name MUST match is in the bean definition "vIDS1M1Controller".

2. Where is your Service class? If you're using SimpleFormController, I don't see any constructor 
injection here as well as in dispatcher-servlet.

3. Why you're calling super() in the constructor? You need to pass in a copy of Service class where 
you provide the service in the Controller.

3a. Why you're calling  super() in this constructor? No need for this....

4. You configured the bean "vIDS2M1Controller" in dispatcher-servlet, but there isn't any use there
since you're not redirect to "VIDS2M1.htm" where "vIDS2M1Controller" handles the next process.

5. Bad naming convention, you need rename your Controller, Command, Service, and Domain classes
