Hello Everyone.......
i am doing B tech and i have made a major project.
I want to design a optical character recognition(OCR)
yet i have no idea.
so please tell me about that.
can we design it in Java?
Or
we have to use other tools like MatLab.

If you have any idea about any other good project then please suggest me.

Are you to implement everything by hand or are you allowed to use third party librarys?
OpenCV may be something worth mentioning.

I guess they both are.
Its simply a choice of where you want to go.
If you want to learn more about javacv/opencv or matlab.
I guess that its way easier in matlab.
But in java you would be able to integrate it more easily in other applications.
As I said just guesswork. I worked only with opencv so far.

you can call matlab from java, but not vice versa, so the choice is forced:)
