Showing database in the component diagram as a Node

My DAOs are simple and interact with the Database.
I don't have an email, inventory system as Cade's. I was wondering if showing database in the component diagram (as a node) would be o.k.
Plus I'm planning not to mark it as "(external)" since it is a part of the Sud.
Is that o.k. ?

Any ideas/direction is appreciated.

I have shown DB on component diagram. I have marked it as "Resource Tier"
