I wrote the following code in notepad and in myeclipse and deployed in tomcat6 server in two separate applications "jstlex" deployed directly in webapps of tomcat6 server and "jstlex2" deployed using myeclipse in the same server.

The output of this page when run from the jstlex2 shows the following result

This is my JSP page.
the message is= Hello how are you Brendon
This another line without using identifier HAPPY
My name is Brendon

The output of this page when run from the jstlex shows the following result

This is my JSP page.
the message is= ${msg} Brendon
This another line without using identifier ${"HAPPY"}
My name is ${name}

Why is the difference in the output?

One possibility is that, myeclipse does not seem to recognise template libraries and is rendering the place-holders as such, whereas in Tomcat the template libraries are recognised and the place-holders substituted properly.
