does MVC is used by struts?

Hey,

may i know is there any difference between Struts and MVC architecture?

Struts contains an implementation of MVC. It can do other things (like validation) as well.

Even though Struts provides the framework for creating a Model 2 web application (the closest thing to MVC possible over the HTTP ptotocol), you are still responsible for putting the functionality of your application in the appropriate places.

For example, Struts will not prevent you from creating travesties like performing SQL queries in the JSPs.

Also note that Model 2 web applications are possible to create without Struts or any other large framework.
