Good news! You have a test score entered at http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle for an Oracle Master Certification exam. Please follow the link to your account on the Pearson VUE system to view your test score.

And then realize that there is just an empty score report. Since I did part 1 at prometric, this regards exam
"1Z0-848: TRANSITION (VOUCHER ONLY) Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master".

Even I got the same mail, but once logged in to the prometric website there was empty result.
No idea what is happening.

I got another mail after some times as below,



Dear Lyju ,

Due to high volumes and technical resource constraints, the delay in getting assignments graded has been extended. We sincerely apologize for this delay.

We understand that for some candidates, the delay has been excessive. Please know that we are working diligently to get these assignments graded and get your results back to you as quickly as possible. We realize that there is concern about the upcoming training requirement for the Java Enterprise Architect and Java Developer certifications and how it will affect candidates who have already submitted assignments but have not yet received their scores. Will these candidates be required to complete training? The answer is no in most cases. Please review the scenarios below to find out if you will be required to complete training. If you have any additional questions, please contact [e-mail].

If you are notified of a passing score on your assignment and essay after September 30, 2011, you will receive your certification without being required to complete training if the conditions below have been met:
submitted your assignment and completed your essay by September 30, 2011
passed the Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master Exam by September 30, 2011 (for OCMJEA candidates only)
**Candidates who do not submit all requirements on or before September 30, 2011 will be required to complete training in order to become certified.

If you are notified of a failing score on your assignment and essay after September 30, 2011, you will have the opportunity to receive your certification without being required to complete training if the conditions below have been met:
submitted your assignment and completed your essay by August 27, 2011
passed the Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master Exam by September 30, 2011 (for OCMJEA candidates only)
resubmit the assignment within 30 days of receiving your failing score
pass the 2nd attempt

**Candidates who did not submit both assignment and essay by August 27, 2011 will not be considered for this exception. This policy was outlined in the announcement posted on the Oracle Certification website.”

Yes. I did part 3 on 15 July but a month later I received a mail telling me to upload the assignment again. So I uploaded the assignment again on 14 August.

On 22 August I received:

Thank you for providing the essay exam score report.
Your assignment and essay exam have been submitted to our assessors for grading. The scoring process may take up to 6-8 weeks depending on submission volume.
Once your assignment score is returned, we will contact you with the results.

I expect to wait for the result at least another month. So the mail from ITS support about the new test score is confusing.

I have got the same mail. I have replied to the same mail. They have asked me to contact Pearson . Today I have called Pearson customer service, they dont have an idea. They said they did not send the mail and they do not know about that.

I just received the same mail from <[e-mail]> . I made part 1 at prometric, then part2 and part3 at pearsonvue( July 27). I didn't re-uploaded my assignement.
So what could be my next check?

same here. what do you mean by reupload. Is this because of taking exam in two different vendors. I have mailed to Pearson and the mail id from where it as sent. No reply yet.

I got the same email today, the PearsonVue site still not being updated. Following the above discussions, I should assume several days until the site has my results?

I just received a mail from pearsonveu support:

Dear Davide,

I am afraid there is an error with the PDF's on the website. At present
our technical department have not confirmed when the error will be
corrected.

You should receive notification from Oracle confirming the results have
uploaded to their systems.

I didn't receive any mail yet from Oracle so I checked my exam report on http://certview.oracle.com website where PART II (1Z0-848) is in 'PASS' status
and PART III (1Z0-866) is in 'TAKEN' status. (I have attached a screenshot).
What do you think about that? Does It mean that I passed OCMEA certification?

I also have the status as Pass for 1Z0-848 and have one record on the certification status tab where I can download the gif and achieved date as the date I uploaded the assignment. But not yet got the mail from Oracle.

Pearson just says exams are taken. Does it mean I passed? I'm still not 100% sure. If so, why doesn't Oracle just send me an email telling me that.

I uploaded my assignment on 29th September, and did the essay exam on 30th September (morning). When I logged into CertView on 30th evening, I saw that it shows OCMJEA under my certification list, and I also have the OCMJEA Logo to be downloaded.

I checked the exam history and it shows the following:

Under success kits, I have the following

But I still did not receive any email saying whether my assignment has been sent for grading or that results are ready.

Could this be a system issue? I highly doubt whether they could mark my assignment with in 24 hours, with the increased amount of last minute submissions.

That doesn't seem right. I also have the same success kits status and I can also publish my OCMJEA certification to 3rd parties. I sent a question to Oracle about wether I have passed or not. Guess I have to wait a week or so for the response. Frustrating.

Martin, I am in the same situation like yours. I am taking it positive because, this status update in the certview is available after I got the mail from the ITS support ("Good news! You have a test score..."). I too wrote a mail to Oracle last week and awaiting any response.

I still have not received any confirmation from Oracle by mail but I am now convinced I passed, since I checked the exam history at http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle/. I can now download the score report which says I passed and got 136 out of 160 points.

I have submited my assignment for OCMJEA on June 23, 2011. No news till now except the mail with subject "Assignment Grading delay notification". Mailed [e-mail] regarding this delay. No reply till now. Both Part 2 (1Z0-865) and Part 3(1Z0-864) are in TAKEN status. Waiting from last 15 weeks :-(
