Hi,
I have an issue to pass the dynamic value in query

query:
select * from table where job like '%?%';

When i pass the value in PreparedStatement.setString(1, sJob),

It takes sJob as '%?%'

regards,
Ganesh

Try doing it the other way around:
Note that the select clause does not use quotes; that's what PreparedStatement will do for you.

I tried the following way, it's not working

select * from table where job like ?;

PreparedStatement.setString(1, "%" + sJob + "%"),

PreparedStatement.setString(1, "'%" + sJob + "%'"),

I tried Rob's method and it was working fine. Could you please print the sJob variable and check if its coming fine and a match is present in the table.
