I am silient reader of this post, I learned a lot by reading information posted here.

I took my Essay test on Aug 3,2011. After 14 weeks today when i checked my status at pearson site It says Pass for 2 of 3 and i see my score 138. I assume that it means that i cleared OCMJEA, but 3 of 3 exam status still says taken. when i see at Oracle cert view it says the same thing for 1Z0-865 Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master Downloadable Project pass and for 1Z0-866 Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master Essay Exam it says TAKEN .

Now i am confuse did i really cleared the exam. Is it the way oracle updates result. Or they are still waiting for my essay exam result.

Hi vipin,

I think it's safe to say you have passed, and can start celebrating!

The reason for this is that I recall reading somewhere that the essay isn't actually graded per se - so you won't see a passed status next to it.

Good luck.
