Hi there,

I recently tried to figure out what the best test coverage tools are and what is (still) a recommendation from experienced testers.

I am looking for something that integrates into eclipse preferably. Or maybe a nice maven plugin that generates descend reports.

So, what are you guys using for test coverage (cobertura, emma/jacoco, clover) and maybe even code quality (pmd, checkstyle) and how do you use these tools (mvn, eclipse, ant)?

Hello, Nick Panienski. Welcome to JavaRanch.

I am using Cobertura and I run it by ant script.

I wrote a post about it: Covering your tests with Cobertura, JUnit, HSQLDB, JPA.

I have a friend that is Using Cobertura with maven and it is very easy to start using it.

I also wrote a post with Emma TDD Coverage of tests with JUnit Ant and Emma in case you want to test the Emma also.
