Hi,

I would like to create a discussion forum using Java and make it as a utility which could be plugged into any java based applications. What would be the most feasible Java based technology (applets, swing, jsp/servlet,XML, XSLT.....) to create a forum? I'm planning to use MySql database at backend. Considering database performance, code reusability, minimal UI design, could anyone please suggest a viable option?

It will be great if someone can share helpful sites(posts) with regard to forum creation.

Thanks,
Preetha M
