Guys,

Can anyone suggest me some good books on Struts?? I came to know from the FAQ that Struts programming tutorial by Budi Kurniawan is the best for Struts. Is that true, people who already have used this book please comment. I'm a beginner in struts. Any online beginner materials available? Please help me guys!

Actually mu confusion is, in the project that I'm currently working, I will be familiar with Hibernate/Servlets/Jsp/xml and a couple of web servers. Now when we take to the next level, I don't know what tools and frameworks we might be using in future. But I would like to know what tools and technologies will be ruling the open source java community.

My intention is this, I want to know Struts from a theoretical point of view and I want to master either EJB 3.0 or Spring before the end of this year, the time by which I will actually be working on one of these technologies (don't know which one as time has to answer this). So the big guys here please pen down your suggestions!

Hi

You can use "Professional Jakarta Struts" by James Goodwill and Richard Hightower - published by Wrox. Its really a very good book i have read. It explains you the basics and the underlying concepts with the Architecture very clearly.

There are other books like 'Struts in Action', 'Struts Complete Reference' etc.

Wrox book stands the best in my opinion.

Good luck,
