Which screen size is fine for laptop 14 or 15.6. My friends told me that 14 inch screen laptop is handy and easy to carry while some says 15 inch is better to enjoy movies... Is it a major difference in them??because 14 inch screen is 3k Rs cheaper than 15'' while having no other differnece .. Please guide me

Go to a shop that has laptops, look at laptops with different screen sizes, and decide what you prefer yourself. Different people have different preferences, and we can't tell you what your preference is...

I've had a 13.3-inch laptop (screen resolution 1280 x 800 pixels) in the past and found the resolution too low. When running an IDE I had the feeling that I didn't have enough screen size. Now I have a Dell laptop (Latitude E6520) with 15.6-inch Full HD screen (1920 x 1080 pixels). I love it, the screen on that laptop is great. The pixels are small though, I can understand that some people would feel that text and icons are too small on such a screen.

I would find 1366 x 768 too low. But as I said, it's personal preference.

I agree with Jesper that it's all about the pixels. My advice would be to do whatever you can to afford more pixels - upgrade your RAM later if you have to but get more pixels now - they can't really be upgraded later. With that said, if you can't afford more pixels, I'd choose the smaller laptop because it's smaller, but it has as many pixels as the bigger laptop.

hth,

Bert

Kastubh, I'd say first decide your needs, then go about purchasing.
You can compare your local dealers' prices with ebay(http://deals.ebay.in/deals/laptops.html).
