i have a login page that takes up the whole screen space. on successful login I show a html page with frames.

RHS frame is links.jsp. LHS is a blank page. Whenever you click a link on links.jsp the corresponding page displays in the LHS frame.

Now when in my action classes i check for user in session...if his session expires..I redirect him to Login page. But I see that it displays the Login page inside the LHS frame exposing all the links on RHS frame...which the user is not supposed to see. Here is my forward...

forward name="showloginpage"
contextRelative="true"
path="/login/showloginpage.do"
redirect="true"

My Log out works great . It closes the page with frames and shows the Login Page in the whole screen. the "_top" does the magic here.

<html:link target="_top" page="/entry/logout.do">Log out</html:link><br>

How to solve this problem when I am doing this in the action class?
