I'm using JavaScript to sort my table on the client side. When a column is clicked the script sorts by that column.

What I would like to do is make a JSP request from in the Javascript when a specific column is clicked, and return it to the requesting page. I guess I need to start with the basic JSP request. Can somebody help me with that?
