Hello,
I bought Murach's Java Servlets and JSP, 2nd Edition, and then Head first.
I suggest Head First, but pay attention that some relevant point of the J2ee 6 are not covered by the book so I'm studing also the Spec for the servlet 3.0.
I bought also the Enthuware and I think this can help.

Hope this can help.

Hi @all,
this is my first post on this site. I'm planning to take the SCWCD certification. I already have the SCJP 1.5. Does anyone have the online book and can send me to my e-mail address. If you can't I totally understand. Thank you and good luck with the certification.

Hi all,

I am also planning for SCWCD 1.6 certification. Any idea when "Head first Servelets and JSP 3.0" is going to release in market or is it already released ?
Also can we start studying with version 2.0 of this book as there will be less modification in exam topics, so that we can atleast get started rather than waiting.

Thanks----

Hey Ranchers,

Pl do let me know when the book for OCEWCD 6 arrives in the market. Meanwhile, could you please suggest me some alternatives instead of waiting for the book?

Thanks

Hello there,

I acquired OCPJP 6 in October and now I'm trying to pass OCPJWCD 6 until end of February.

I'm studying with the Head First Servlets & JSP 2nd Edition.

I really appreciate the creative work of our beloved authors.

However, even though it's a really well written book, I think it's outdated, when you come to think about Servlet 3.0 and all.

I have my own Tomcat 7 server running in Amazon AWS EC2 and I'm looking for collaborative online study sessions with people like you.

Please tell me if you're interested in joining forces.
