I have some more general doubt about java.....If i created a programe n compile and i got .class files then how can i use my .class files as runnable software(like .exe files of any software)......can any one suggest me....

Why not just create a JAR file with the Main-Class attribute set appropriately?

there have been discussions about this recently(try searching). you can make an executable jar or use third party software to actually make a .exe
there is also web start now but i know little about that
