Hi All,

I am facing issue with CPU Load high in our unix box for web server.
However issue get resolves if we re-start web service.

but we are not sure what exatly eating up this unix box.

We have checked no of threads are under control and GC log analysis is also fine.

top command output:

oad averages: 14.4, 13.9, 15.1; up 70+13:57:37 13:02:58
56 processes: 53 sleeping, 3 on cpu
CPU states: 63.3% idle, 34.4% user, 2.2% kernel, 0.0% iowait, 0.0% swap
Memory: 16G phys mem, 6208M free mem, 8193M swap, 8193M free swap

PID USERNAME LWP PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME CPU COMMAND
2240 tomcat 291 0 0 1369M 1313M cpu 930.1H 815% java

We are not able to find the root cause and futher pointer fropm where to start the investiagtion. what exactly the issue is memory , JVM , heap dump, GC etc.

if any one who knows please assist me.

Regards,
Prabhat
