NoClassDefFoundError when launching as service

Hi,

I am facing a very weird issue. A web application I am using works fine when I launch Tomcat from command-line using java -jar bootstrap.jar. But when I launch it as Windows service, I get NoClassDefFoundErrorError at login page. I can't figure out what difference between launching via command line vs launching as service is causing this. Would appreciate any expert advice.

Where do you define your classpath? Sounds like the one from the command line does not match the one from the service. Also, maybe both are using a different JVM? Without any detailed stacktrace it's hard to tell at this time.
