Please any body help me in "How to find number of COM Ports available"?


I will be using it on Windows 7......

I believe the Java Communications API has a method in the CommPortIdentifier class that lists all available ports. This API is a Java extension, you can download a good implementation from http://rxtx.qbang.org.
