JEXCEL Problem in copying a work book?

I am using UBUNTU ,

When i tried to copy the Workbook to WritableWorkbook , then i got a null pointer exception, the code is

import java.io.File;

import jxl.Workbook;
import jxl.write.WritableWorkbook;

public class BugTest1 {
	public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception{
		Workbook workbook = Workbook.getWorkbook(new File("/home/WhiteHorse/Desktop/MasterTemplate.xls"));
		WritableWorkbook writableWorkbook = Workbook.createWorkbook(new File("/home/WhiteHorse/Desktop/CopyTemplate.xls"),workbook);  // copying the workbook
		writableWorkbook.write();
		writableWorkbook.close();
	}
}

ERROR :

    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
	at jxl.biff.DVParser.<init>(DVParser.java:669)
	at jxl.biff.BaseCellFeatures.getDVParser(BaseCellFeatures.java:501)
	at jxl.write.biff.SheetWriter.writeDataValidation(SheetWriter.java:1137)
	at jxl.write.biff.SheetWriter.write(SheetWriter.java:581)
	at jxl.write.biff.WritableSheetImpl.write(WritableSheetImpl.java:1558)
	at jxl.write.biff.WritableWorkbookImpl.write(WritableWorkbookImpl.java:950)
	at bugTest.BugTest1.main(BugTest1.java:20)

If i do some editing in the MasterTemplate.xls file and save that file then if try to run the Program, then all works fine with the warning like

  
Warning:  no filename property for drawing
  Warning:  no filename property for drawing
  Warning:  no filename property for drawing
  Warning:  no filename property for drawing

So can any one help me with this problem , why this one occurs and how can i handle it.
