Hi,
I wanna start Apach Axis1. Could you please let me know the best best for it? I know you will suggest me for Axis2 but still some implementations are using Axis1 so for understanding and modifying them I think I need to understand Axis1 first. Then I will move on Axis2.

Your comments are most welcome.

Thanks.

You don't need to understand Axis 1 in order to understand Axis 2. I would argue that dealing with (i.e., learning) Axis 1 is indeed a waste of time (unless you have a definite need, like if your company uses Axis 1 and has no plans to upgrade - which is something I would challenge). Axis 1 has been obsolete for a long time.

Absolutely... The same point I mentioned above that if you find Axis1 implementation somewhere then would you able to understand and modify it just because you know Axis2 or you should know Axis1 first?
Secondly, I am also not assuming that one should learn Axis1 first for getting the Axis2. It is only the above point nothing else.

Thanks for your time.
