Hi everyone,
we have a java web application on Websphere accessing a DB2 instance on a Z/OS mainframe via JDBC type 4 connection.

The application correctly works for days/hours but occasionaly we get this error:

[jcc][t4][2030][11211][4.8.86] A communication error occurred during operations on the connection's underlying socket, socket input stream, or socket output stream. Error location: Reply.fill(). Message: Insufficient data. ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE=08001DSRA0010E: SQL State = 08001, Error Code = -4,499

Any suggestion?

Thank you

bye
