learning core java and j2ee with struts framework simulataneously

hi there friends ... new here

i would like to study core java and j2ee with struts framework at HP Summer Training simultaneously , is it a good idea to do both in parallel?

i have a fair bit of knowledge about c and c++

Duration is 6 week(60 hrs for core java and 120 hrs for j2ee with struts framework ) , so basically for the first 15-18 days i would be attending 8 hrs a day(4-core ,4-j2ee).

Is it possible to complete everything in this time frame and actually come out with a good learning experience ?

or should i opt for just j2ee with struts ? and study core java related concepts in free time?

please help me out ... registration deadline is 30th april.

I think it depends on your level of java core. If you think it's good enough, then go with j2ee and struts only.

i dont have any concrete knowledge about java ...

HP has core java and j2ee with struts course ... so i thought why not kill 2 birds with one stone ..!!

other better opinions , languages (PHP etc) are welcome ..!!

So you have to pick up the java core course first, definitely. But it won't take much time and you still can learn java core in parallel with struts and j2ee.

what else would i need to learn if i wanted to build android apps ..???

i mean java language topics that divulge in anroid app development.

Hi, I am also new... May I know if you benefited from simultaneoulsy attending the Core Java and J2EE with Struts Framework courses from HP? I am also planning to do what you did. Can you tell me if you faced any problems? Please give me your valuable feedback!
