i have windows vista in my system and i am unable to configure java communication api in my system...i have done it by reading in some of the blogs but it gives the following error---
javax.comm.CommPortIdentifier not found....
please tell me the whole procedure to configure the java communication api...like where to place files and all...including where to get the useful material to study

follow the instructions given on the link above. I am on Win XP and was able to install it successfully.
