yes, the rss support is available since rc1. I just didn't documented it because its kinda experimental ( may have problems with syncrhonization between request etc.. )..

The rss files are created dinamically, when you post new topics and / or create new forums. You could then access by

for example, the RSS for the topics of jforum are available at

When I downloaded JForum RC1, I noticed that there is a util / rss directory in the source code. Does RC1 have RSS support and I just can't find it, or is this for the future?

Thanks,
Ken

Hi,

I am using version 1.0 RC3 ...

I don't see anything in the rss folder. Has this been disabled in newer versions? If so ... can I enable it?

Thanks

Yes, it is disabled.

I'll try to get it done to RC4. I disabled it because some problems with ThreadLocals.

Only in the CVS version. I have it almost finished. Until next weekend I'll put it under jforum.net, so you can take a look.

Hi Rafael,

Does not CVS version create RSS's for the forums as long as it does for the topics of each forum?

Thanks

Yes. The URL is /rss/forums.page, but it is raising an exception. I created a bug entry related to this: http://www.jforum.net/jira/browse/JF-150

Is not hard to fix.
