You can write an entry at Jira ( http://www.jforum.net/jira ), as "New Feature", asking for it. Please try to explain as better as you can the desired functionality, and why it is so good, that we will try to develop it in the future.

I used to Jive. I think its NNTP / Mail gateway integration feature is great. With this feature on, forum users can read and post from browser, news client, and mail client. [originally posted on jforum.net by Anonymous]
