I have just installed the latest version and all went well.

However, when I try to setup email, or other settings in the admin panel, it saves (says so), but the database shows no changes.

To confirm, re-displaying the admin panel, the changes are gone.

Also, when deleting a forum, it gives a SQL error, no SQL text, just SQL error message on screen.

Thanks,

Peter

Configurations are saved in text files, not in database.
The written file is WEB-INF/config/jforum-custom.conf

Which error message you get when try to delete a forum?
