Integrating jforum with existing app

Hello,

I am trying to integrate jforum with an existing web app, with no luck at the moment.

I need to integrate jforum with the web app directory structure, something like this:

- myapp/store
- myapp/products
- myapp/forum

Is there an easy way to put JForum under a simple directory? or it always has to start at the root directory?

Anyway, thanks for that great software.

No, currently you can't put it on a regular directory.

This is planned to be supported some day - does not require a lot of hard work - it's just a lot tedious

I put forum in /, but I make dir "forum" and move index.htm in it.
And now I can type URL http://my.site.ru/forum/ and it rederect to http://my.site.ru/forums/list.page.

if you use servlet container with support 2.4, you can add
<welcome-file>jforum</welcome-file>

in <welcome-file-list> section win web.xml file

I want to use "myapp" as start page.
Forum only as part of "myapp": I have link Forum on one of the page of the "myapp".

Merge all web apps in one big .war is very bad practice. Avoid this configuration as possible.
