Short version:

All further development for the next release (2.1.7) will now be done on the B_2_1_7 branch in the CVS repository. So please switch to this branch if you are a developer, a tester, or are using JForum checked out directly from CVS.

Long version:

Rafael and I have agreed that all further development on 2.1.7 will be done on the B_2_1_7 branch.

No new features should be added to 2.1.7 now. Only bugfixes, translation fixes, removal of uneeded files, updated javadoc and documentation in general, are allowed. Please stick to these rules. We have now started a lot of testing.

When 2.1.7 is released, then the JForum3 branch will be merged to head.

I you are in doubt on how to switch to this branch, or have any other questions about this issue, please let us now!

We will as soon as possible make sure that the nigthly build is switched to this branch.
