I'm trying to install Jforum on the Tomcat server.

I've unzipped the files and copied them to the webapps directory. I renamed the JForum-2.1.6 directory to just jforum and started the server. However I keep getting this error :-

org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: No suitable Log constructor

The stack trace is given below. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have log4.jar somewhere in classpath?

hi lazee, thanks a lot for replying.
I've tried setting the CLASSPATH variable to point to the WEB-INF/lib directory, but i still end up getting this problem.

Incidentally, this problem occurs only when i startup/shutdown tomcat thru the Eclipse IDE. Starting/Shutting at the command prompt seems to work fine. Any clue why?
