Have installed JForum 2.1.7 on Tomcat 6.0.10 with Oracle 10g. Can't create users or categories

Getting the error: Unsupported feature

Can create Groups though. And no problems when editing a user.

Hmm, that location in the code is in the "Autokeys" section. According to the oracle.properties in the oracle db config directory and the schema there, the DB will "autoincrement" the id key.

So, check your config files to make sure that the database.support.autokeys option is set to false (in both the oracle db directory and your jforum-custom.conf.

Also make sure that you are really using the OracleDataAccessDriver. It's odd that the Exception trace lists the GenericUserDAO and not the Oracle specific one.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

dabatase.support.autokeys was set to "true" in my jforum-custom.conf. Changed it to "false" and now it works fine.

So, how could it be set to "true". Could I have done something wrong in the installation fase?
