We are feature frozen now. We still have to test it with Oracle. At the moment, I'm working on improvements to the web installer.

JForum 2.1.8 is already stable and ready for production use. We hope to release it to the community very soon.

Hello, first off thanks for jforum! We are currently migrating from dotnetnuke to jforum and thanks to the logical structure of the jforum database and well designed model 2 structure, it has been almost completely smooth sailing so far. There is a load of integration stuff which we need to add and so we were wondering:
is there is a release schedule or time estimate in place yet for version 2.1.8? (or even a 2.1.8 release candidate?) Would it be worth bolting changes on to 2.1.7/CVS then merging with 2.1.8 when it is released or is 2.1.8 coming soon enough that it is worth waiting?

Thanks!
