I am writing some actions in struts, when i am checking some dates and they are not in proper date format i am creating a action errors and basically trying to send to same JSP page for that i am using the line of code below but surprisingly the mapping is returning input type as null, any thoughts what could be wrong

retval = new ActionForward(mapping.getInput());

Hi
Is there any specific reason for you not using the "input" element of the action mappings configuration ?
I mean that way it would be easy for you to work out this scenario.

Amit
