Does JForum have an editor mode that is commonly called "what you see is what you get?" This is where the text is formatted while typing. So, if I wanted something bolded, I would see text . Instead, it would just be bolded.

There is nothing "out of the box"... but a little searching thru the forums for WYSIWIG articles turned up:

This assumes that your "forum power users" don't want to use any fancy BB Codes.

A possible alternative to this might be the tinyMCE editor which has a BBCodes plug in.
