Hi. The forum listing shows a "blocked forum" icon, but I think it's never used. How can I block a forum?

Thanks in advance

AFAIK, the only way to block (or lock) a forum is to define it as a R/O forum in all the groups that have access to it. However, this doesn't display a "locked" icon on the listing like a locked topic does.

Unfortunately, I think making the main list display lock icons for r/o forum is a big performance hit. It would require comparing each forum to the user's security rights.

FWIW, topic can be locked by moderators and admins by clicking on the lock icon at the bottom of the topic.
