OCAJP is necessary

Sir I am very confused. I want to ask Is it necessary to give OCAJP before giving OCPJP ?
Simple question but please reply.

Depends on which version of OCPJP you want to do. If you want to take OCPJP 6, no OCAJP is required. For OCPJP 7 you 1st have to take the OCAJP.

If you want to use a book instead of online rsources, then you have no choice because as far as i know there are no books available for OCPJP7, but for OCPJP6 you have K&B6 book.
