[struts 2] How to get a parameter from web.xml

Hi,

In my Interceptor i want to get a parameter from web.xml like this in a filter:



If this is not possible or not the proper way to do this in Struts 2, what's than the proper way of doing this?

I've found a simmilair question here:

This guy uses a ServletContext Event Listner, but it's not clear to me how he passes this value to the rest of his application?

I absolutely don't want to use a different framework like Spring or Appfuse.
