Dear frndz,

I have installed tomcat-5.0.28 on SPARC 64-bit platform. The os is Solaris 10. I have deployed my web application in tomcat. My application is using the package JFreeChart for creating charts. But when I am taking my application no charts are coming. I am getting the following exception in the logfile 'localhost.xxxx-xx-xx.log'.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

Are the JFreechart and JCommon jar files available where they should be, and not corrupted (meaning you can use them with the jar tool)?

Both jar file are in the correct location ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps/myweb/WEB-INF/lib)

The jarfiles are not corrupted. I can unjar these files with the 'jar' tool.

In that case you need to run Tomcat in headless mode. See the last entry on this page for details on how to do that.
