Hi,

I am running a telecom application on 3 red hat Linux servers. All server have same kind of settings. We have observed that one of the server throwing "No ManagedConnections available within configured blocking timeout ( 30000 [ms] )" when there is bulk INSERT/UPDATE on oracle database. But same amount of Bulk INSERT/UPDATE on oracle database is done without any Exception in rest of the two server.

We are using below jboss connection pool for db connectivity in all servers :

<valid-connection-checker-class-name>
org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.vendor.OracleValidConnectionChecker
</valid-connection-checker-class-name>
<driver-class>oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</driver-class>
<min-pool-size>10</min-pool-size>
<max-pool-size>150</max-pool-size>
<blocking-timeout-millis>30000</blocking-timeout-millis>
<idle-timeout-minutes>20</idle-timeout-minutes>
<transaction-isolation>TRANSACTION_READ_COMMITTED</transaction-isolation>
<prepared-statement-cache-size>100</prepared-statement-cache-size>

App related detail
Red Hat linux server
JBOSS 4.2.2
JDK 5 Update 22
oracle10g

The Exception occur maximum for 2 minutes but during this time lot of requests will fail. Anyone can give idea what is causing the particular server throwing this Exception while rest of the servers running smoothly.

Regards,
Jaya
