Hello All,

Currently I am working SAP technology as technical support. I came to know that some people where saying that SAP technology will get saturated in near future because it focuses only on Business and ERP. Can anyone tell me whether SAP technology will get obsolete?

Regards,

Yes, it will, just like any other piece of software. Prepare yourself for lifelong learning, and you should be fine.

i doubt that there will significant negative change in its demand soon. sap works well on the enterprise level at platforms needed by big companies.

if a new big competition comes out, then of course you will need to be concerned.

otherwise, i think that sap is still a useful skill to have.

How is the market for SAP and Java, J2EE in 2012. Because this is the year of biggest recession (particularly in Europe and India).

I think it already is saturated, now the next big thing is Big Data
