Hi
I am Embedded Engineer and working in industry from last 5 years.
Please suggest me is there any benefit for me to do the certification of OCUP - OMG Certified UML Professional.
is this certification helps me to to become software Architecture ?
as of now I am working as an developer and I am looking for higher role.

Hi,
I went for this certification because I wanted to focus on learning UML, and going for the certificate helps you to focus.
However - being an architect myself - I am not convinced that the certificate helps you to achieve the goal of becoming an architect.

and addition to Jan, learning UML will help you in some aspects in becoming J2EE architect.
